Once again I find myself doing selective colour. I don't know why this should be as I am really not a big fan of it at all. Annnnyyyhoooooo. This is Nicole a friends daughter. She is trying out as a model and is not so sure. I think she will do pretty well actually.

Just messing with my 15mm fisheye. Stuck it over a bridge on the River Tweed in Scotland. No real touchup other than the B & W conversion didn't even bother to straighten. Silly shot but fun to do.

I have taken a moonshot through my telescope before, but I got hold of a 'T' mount and eyepeice adapter, you just can't beat a 1600mm lens! Finally got a break in the weather. I like these shots I have to say.

There is nothing spectacular about this image however I am just amazed at the fact that this was shot at ISO 3200 and there has been no noise reductuon applied at all. Although I have to say, she is rather fit!!

This is Danielle, she is just starting out and wanted some shots for her portfolio, I really was not on my game at all though durign the shoot and found it quite difficult to get fired up. Not Danielle's fault, totally mine. Just a complete lack of planning on my part. So now I know this is a bit cheesy and also a bit bit of a copy from "American Dream". I am quite happy with it though.

This is from a studio setup. Becky was helping me with poses for boudoir, I also need to play more with lighting and look at how to postion the person in a more flattering manor. All in all I am fairly pleased with this though.

Still very much enjoying portraiture and using the studio lights. I took this on my second shoot with Michelle. its amazing how much better the shoot was now she knew me a little and could relax a bit. I got this when she started asking about cameras. She picked up the camera and I grabbed this without her knowing.

Space Shuttle

Today I went to watch the shuttle launch, it was amazing, it was a dusk launch and I took a load of pics of it going up however they all look like a big fireball in the sky which is pretty uninteresting unless you were there.

I did manage to get this one though. If you look carefully, about a third of the way up in the pic you will see the 2 Solid Rocket Boosters falling away from the white space shuttle above. The Shuttle was 9 miles high by this time and doing 14,000 mph.

This is another shoot, The model is Gemma, she is quite new to this but not as new as me. We had quite a laugh and I must have blown 150 shots before she started to relax. It took me 300 to relax. I really have a problem asking them what I want them to do.

This was with a snoot camera right. PP levels, exposure and noise.

I'm posting this pic simply because of all the pics I have ever taken, this one was the most difficult to get. It involved 2 tripods, a telescope, my Sony compact, gaffer tape, a wire coat hanger, 2 hours of standing around in freezing cold weather, and all I got was this lousy shot. However, I know its all blown out to the left but I STILL LIKE IT!!!

Keadby Swing Bridge, about a mile from my home. Originally a swinging railway bridge, it now has a road through it too and and hasn't moved in 40 years..I know how it feels.

I have been meaning to shoot this at night for some time now but never remembered! Went out last night and finally had a go, Hated the colour version, quite like the B&W though.

I would to introduce you to Pete, he is a pepper (Please don't call him a tomato, he hates that) The reason I am showing him, is that this pepper is the ONLY thing I have ever grown in my life. It has taken me 6 months of nurturing and daily watering...all right watering when I can remember to do it, to get him to this stage. Sure he may be pathetically small and stunted and perhaps resembling a cherry tomato, but he's all my own work.
